Root coverage: The science, the art and the element of time

Abstract
Root coverage procedures, part of periodontal plastic surgery, are an essential aspect of periodontal practice. Their evolution has ushered tremendous benefits for patients who need treatment for gingival recession defects. This webinar will review current scientific evidence on gingival recession and root coverage, reexamine technical aspects of these procedures, and highlight the element of time, i.e., long-term outcomes, as it relates to these surgical treatment techniques.
