SUMMARY
Restoring lesions at the posteror area of young patients demand a certain clinical protocol with respect of the natural dental tissues. The proper knowledge and understanding of the structure, anatomy and morphology of natural teeth will allow us to reproduce the lost dental tissue predictably and repeatedly. Modern materials combined with bonding protocols give us the ability to create direct and indirect restorations which imitate the natural dental structure, specially at the demanding posterior region. The aim is to increase the longevity of our restorations and to reduce or eliminate future cycles of retreatment, maintaining the vitality and function of natural dental tissue.
