Impression Procedures for Implant-borne Restorations: Analog versus Digital

Abstract:
Following introduction of modern IOS, CAD/CAM and 3D printing devices, the implant dentistry and prosthodontics has dramatically changed. The success of implant-supported prostheses directly depends on the accuracy of surgical and prosthetic stages. Also, it is necessary to respect biologic parameters.
New advances in digital implantology and prosthodontics allows to innovate clinical protocols allowing to adapt better to the patient needs and to increase treatment efficiency. Therefore, it is very important to understand the complexity of digital workflow.
In this lecture, it will be presented how to transform digital implantology and prosthodontics by applying ADIP (Accurate Digital Implantology and Prosthodontics) workflow.
